ReGen on the road to serving more customers
We are thrilled to announce that we have expanded our recycling vehicle fleet with the addition of two new low emissions Volvo Euro VI trucks this week. This move supports the company’s continuing growth, and our unwavering commitment to reducing our carbon footprint by investing in materials and equipment to make operations as ‘green’ as possible.
Some of the key environmental benefits of the latest additions to the fleet include low emissions engines, an iTorque driveline, which selects the optimum gear in order to conserve fuel where possible and limit carbon emissions in the process, a forward facing camera and radar to reduce the possibility of collisions, and Volvo’s new AEB system which will automatically brake the truck to avoid a crash.
Taking receipt of these new trucks is ReGen Transport Manager Seamus McEvoy who will be handing the keys over to eager drivers Joe McSherry and Conor Morgan.
Having a sustainable vehicle feet is essential for us to meet the needs of our ever-growing customer base, and so these new trucks ensure that we are in the best possible position to continue delighting our customers all across the UK and Ireland.
You can expect to see the gents in action this week as they put the new trucks to the test.
