Re-Gen Waste is one of Europe’s most advanced MRF (materials recovery facility) installations, specialising in sorting dry fraction of municipal waste. Re-Gen Waste operates our Newry based facility 24 hours per day, to process over 1.5million tonnes of waste. Company operations include waste to energy (WTE), MDR processing, MSW processing and engineering. We are currently recruiting for Waste Disposal Operatives, on a six-month fixed term basis, with immediate start. The successful candidates will be based in our Waste Facility in Newry and will be required to dispose of waste materials/products that have been processed through our manufacturing machinery, such as cardboard, mixed papers and plastic bottles. Most of the sorting process is done by screen separators, which separate mixed papers, cardboard and plastic bottles from commingled recyclables.
Re-Gen continues to invest in the upgrade of new equipment and facilities and our Operation teams work to a high standard of quality output, at all times.
The successful candidate will be expected to ensure the operational efficiency and quality of the finished product.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns and overtime when required.
- Ability to develop new skills.
- Ability to deliver high quality work, ‘getting it right first time’.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills.
Duration: Six months fixed term, with possibility of a permanent position after this period, depending on business needs and satisfactory performance.
Location: Re-Gen Waste Ltd, Newry, Co. Down
Remuneration: Attractive with the opportunity to work overtime to enhance pay levels.
Hours: Shift work
