Newry, Mourne and Down Council Chairperson, Councillor Roisin Mulgrew presented her four charities (Women’s Aid Amragh/down, Mental Health Forum, Davina’s Ark and Mind Your Mate and Yourself) with a total of £24,000 on Thursday 31st May 2018, during a presentation at the Council Offices, Monaghan Street, Newry. Joseph Doherty, Managing Director, Ren-Gen Waste Ltd who sponsored a corporate event to mark International Woman’s Day, were money was raised through donations, raffles and other fundraising for the four charities, joined Councillor Mulgrew as she presented the proceeds to the charities.
