More councils throughout the UK and Ireland are now turning to Re-Gen to help with their recycling needs. With increased investment in the company’s state-of-the-art facility, Re-Gen has seen an annual increase in capacity from 60,000 tons in 2007 to 80,000 tons in 2008.
Boasting a fleet of more than 40 trailers for collection and haulage of various loose recyclables, Re-Gen are servicing the needs of customers throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Current haulage and logistics capabilities have also enabled Re-Gen to transport over 1,000 tons per week back to the plant for processing.
With continued expansion of the company throughout 2008, Re-Gen aim to improve recovery rates and increase the overall quantity of commingled waste being diverted from landfill.
With EU Legislation continuing to penalise councils failing to meet agreed targets, Re-Gen is actively investing in helping local authorities not only meet EU recycling targets, but also surpass them.
